What are the Advantages of Full Height Shutters?

Full height shutters are becoming an increasingly popular option with buyers because of the many advantages they offer, such as:

A high-quality feel with low maintenance upkeep

Our full height shutters are made from high-quality materials such as basswood, craftwood, or PVC meaning they are built to last and need little maintenance. Cleaning full height shutters is simple, it just requires a damp cloth or feather duster – unlike curtains that need to be washed often.

      Simple installation

Because they cover the whole window, full height shutters are easier to install than other blinds or curtains. Meaning, you only need to know the window’s height and width to have them installed properly. If you’re interested in finding out how we fit your shutters, read our blog here.

      Improved energy efficiency

Full height shutters also have better levels of energy efficiency – so can save you money on your energy bills. This is because the structure stops heat from escaping through your windows, whilst also protecting your home from the outside cold air as they act as a barrier.
